YOUR TEACHER

Bonjour!

I am Audrey Bouttier, a professional French teacher, living now in Cambridge in the fantastic cohousing community called K1/Marmalade Lane. I am native from Versailles (next to Paris) and graduated from University Paris La Sorbonne with excellent references. I like travelling, cooking, learning languages wherever I go, and of course teaching.

In France, I used to teach Literature and Language in secondary school ; I travelled a lot and gave private lessons to a diverse public (Germany, India, Chile).

In London, I worked with children, teenagers and adults of all levels: I gave private lessons, organised conversation groups from home and in cafes  and promoted French in schools by teaching French to years 3, 5 and 6.

Now that I am in Cambridge, I am offering the same services with the same dedication and I have a new ambition, which is to provide French tuition within organisations. If you, in the context of your work, think that you or your colleagues might be interested in this, please contact me.

If interested in practicing French as part of a pastry workshop/tasting, contact me too!

All the lessons are tailored to everyone's needs, focusing on vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and culture. We start from what you know, your experience, and gradually build up new skills with confidence. My lessons are very interactive and dynamic: we use games, original documents, songs and we like playing playlets. In summary, I am dedicated to bringing French living to you.

My qualification:

  • Secondary school teaching diploma for teaching Contemporary French Literature.

  • Master's degree for Contemporary French Literature.

  • Undergraduate degree for French as a Foreign Language.
